Premium Tandems - There is no finer experience than seeing the world go by from the saddle of a quality tandem bicycle.

As an authorized Santana dealer we stock a test ride fleet of at least one quality Santana tandem in each available size. This insures that you and your riding partner will have the opportunity to try a tandem that will fit you properly. Once you decide on a model, our tandem experts will assist you in choosing a color and options that will best suit your riding style. Santana will then build you your own special bike. Delivery time varies, but is usually 4-6 weeks.

Budget Tandems - Should you find the price of a premium tandem, such as Santana or Co-Motion, a little rich for your blood, we also offer the more affordable KHS line of tandems. With a KHS tandem, you and your riding partner can enjoy all the pleasures of a shared riding experience, with reasonable performance, for about half the price of a Santana or Co-Motion. We stock several models and sizes of KHS tandems and can order any model they offer.

For the truly budget minded tandem shopper we offer the Raleigh Companion tandem. Despite costing about 1/5 the price of a premium tandem this bike offers a rigid frame and 21 speeds. This give you a basic recreational tandem performance. With it's wide 26" tires it is ideal for rides of 50 miles or less and will work well both on and off-road. We keep a Companion in stock for test rides.

If you are interested in test riding a tandem at Kirk's, please call ahead to arrange an appointment. The unique nature of tandem bicycles requires extra time for introduction, fitting, special riding instructions and coaching. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a test ride session for walk-ins.
